How much do you know about papermaking raw materials?

At present, on major e-commerce websites or commodity packaging, the raw material composition of paper towels is mainly divided into four types: wood pulp, log pulp, virgin wood pulp, and recycled pulp. 

1. Wood pulp

Wood pulp is not the same as raw wood pulp, wood pulp refers to pulp made from the fibers extracted from wood chips. It is not known whether the source of these wood chips is wood or waste wood. It can only be said that it is a slurry made of wood.

2. Wood pulp

Raw wood pulp is completely made from wood and is unprocessed wood pulp. Raw wood pulp is one grade higher than virgin wood pulp. The cost of raw wood pulp is much more expensive than raw wood pulp, and it is non-toxic and harmless to use, environmentally friendly and safe.

3. Virgin wood pulp

In addition to wood, raw wood pulp may also be added with raw materials such as straw, cotton and linen, and the purity is definitely not as good as that of raw wood pulp. But at least it's still made from virgin fibers, also called virgin pulp.

Fourth, recycled pulp

Recycled pulp, as the name suggests, is a slurry made from recycled materials, including recycled wood, bamboo, and even straw pulp.

In a nutshell: virgin wood pulp is better than virgin wood pulp than wood pulp is better than recycled pulp.
